Cooking with Kikkoman

A friend of mine gave me this recipe and we really liked it! You should give it a try. It is yummy and easy, my two favorites about cooking!!

Here are the ingredients you need:

Chicken breast (however many you desire)
Kikkoman soy sauce
One egg
Panko bread crumbs (found in Asian food isle)
Parmesan cheese
Black pepper
Half a stick of butter

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350
  • Choose the pan you are going to use and add the butter. Place the pan in the oven and wait about ten minutes or until it is melted
  • In a bowl beat egg and add 2 tablespoons of Kikkoman soy sauce
  • In a separate bowl mix Panko bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese and black pepper
  • Take chicken breast and dip it into egg mixture and then coat it in the Panko mixture, place in pan (make sure they are coated well)

Cook on 350 for 20 minutes and then flip chicken over and cook for another 2o minutes.

*I made pasta and asparagus as our sides. For a great tutorial on how to roast asparagus, go HERE

ENJOY!!

It's about time...

I have slacked on the blog writing lately. Good news, I have not been slacking at home!

Carson and I have not made a lot of updates at home but we have been planning. We have so many ideas and now we just decide when we will start them. Our ideas cost a lot of money so we have to pick one and finish it and then decide what we want to spend the money on next.

We have been working on the kitchen. We painted one wall and decorated a little. It is awesome how the little changes can change everything so much! I will takes pictures soon and post them. Other good news, our garden is growing! Carson has done all of the work, he has a real green thumb!

Next on our list is to make a headboard for our bedroom and an awning for the backyard. I will try to keep this updated more but I guess not updating just means this blog is working, I am getting things done!
